Wow! Where has the year gone huh - May already?

Well, believe it or not, this blog address has been sitting here since February awaiting it's inaugural moment and here it is!
I'm looking forward to using this space for various things after we've finished. For now though, this is the home of our cellgroup so welcome! I hope you've found your study guide and that you're ready for God to challenge and grow you through the next 12 weeks.

It would be awesome if you'd take the time to comment on this post - give us your life story (perhaps the nutshell version!) or simply take a blogging name if you want and stay incognito - the choice is yours! Either way, be sure to just let us know you're with us.
I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts each week as it'll make or break the study. When you hear how God impacts others and gets their attention, you can't help but want to share your own stories.
If you fall behind with the 'homework' don't worry - just leave what you haven't been able to catch up on and keep up with which ever week we happen to be on!
If you decide part way through that you want an extra manual - fights have been known to break out over one book!! - just drop me an email as there are a few copies remaining! You've got until at least July to get your $$$ to me so don't stress there.
Let's start Unit 1 on Monday 7th May. At the beginning of each week there will be some questions for you to respond to and again, if you come up with a few stella ones of your own then please email them through to me.
If you've just happened to stumble over the blog and you're wondering what the heck we're doing, get in touch with me through the profile details on the sidebar and I'll fill you in on the study so you can decide if you want to join us!
In a nutshell - this is all about seeing God at work around us and being challenged to let Him have our day, all of it, before we try and take any of it for ourselves and our plans. Trust me - it'll blow your mind when you see how much God wants to use us! All He needs is a willing vessel...

The nutshell version of my life? Um...I'm Canadian, my parents split when I was 7. I grew-up in the United Church. My mom and Dad both re-married. I have two older brothers and a younger sister. I suffered from Depression when I was in my teens. I joined The Salvation Army when I was 18 and since then have given my entire life to God and The Army. I am determined to live a life of significance. I desire to know God, know myself through God and see how the two come-together to change the world. My vision is to love God and people perfectly. I came to NZ after being at 614 Toronto for five years to be with my boyfriend, who I had met in Toronto. I love chocolate.
Thanks for writing this.
